About Us

OEG Offshore is a leading provider of specialist offshore cargo carrying units and cabins and can provide a vast array of equipment on a sale or rental basis from our numerous locations worldwide.

OEG Offshore was formed in 2008 with the aim of developing a worldwide rental business focused on the needs of topside activities in the oil services sector.
Our first acquisition in February 2008 was Containental Offshore which supplies high- specification containers and cargo carrying units to the offshore oil and gas industry and the acquisition provided a strong and secure financial base for it to further expand its rental fleet of over 2,500 rental units and to build on its successes of recent years, both in our domestic and international markets.

This was followed in June 2009 by the acquisition of Vertec Engineering and the hire division and rental fleet of Labtech Services which enabled OCHL to expand its geographic coverage to new regions and offer a wider range of products to its oil services customers.
Vertec Engineering had been established in 1985 to design and build service cabins and control rooms for the oil & gas industry and had established a strong reputation for the quality and excellence of its specialist design and engineering capability.

The Labtech hire division operated a fleet of over 60, A60 DNV 2.7-1 offshore service cabins and workshops, built to the highest levels of industry specifications and capable of operating in both hazardous and safe zone environments for the global offshore energy market.

The integration of the Labtech hire division into Vertec created one of the pre-eminent global providers of specialist engineering cabins.

We now intend to build upon these strong foundations and, in January 2010, Containental Offshore and Vertec Engineering will be amalgamated and will trade in future as OEG Offshore Limited. This will ensure that a seamless service can be provided to all our customers as the business continues its planned international expansion.
