OEG Offshore supplied a set of custom workshop container for ENI’s natural gas field development, Coral South in Area 4 of the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique.

The non-pressurised Zone II workshop container was equipped with personnel door, shelving units, steel workbench, pipe vice, roller drawers and cabinets for secure storage of tools and parts.  In addition, a gantry crane rail with chain hoist, air conditioning system, emergency lighting and escape hatch were also part of the customer’s specific project requirements.

The bespoke Zone II workspace will be utilised to support the subsea production system installation and workover activities on the drilling rig. 

Furthermore, the DNV 2.7-1 spares containers will provide secure storage on the drilling rig for subsea production equipment, spare parts and consumables used for Mozambique Coral South.
