OEG Offshore, a leading specialist provider of cargo carrying units (CCUs) and A60 modules to the energy and mining industries today announces the merger of its' Australian subsidiaries to form OEG Offshore Pty Ltd. The entities involved are OPC Australia Pty Ltd (OPC), Oilfield & Resource Rentals Pty Ltd (ORR) and Offshore Cryogenic Services Pty Ltd (OCS).
The merger facilitates OEG Offshore's ability to offer an integrated and consistent product and service offering across Australia. OEG Offshore's range of DNV 2.7-1 transportable offshore chemical, acid, cryogenic and helifuel (Jet A1) tanks, containers, baskets, chemical injection pumps, waste units and A60 cabins are now available across Australia for rental or sale and are complemented by a bespoke design service.
OEG Offshore is also now capable of offering its wide range of services on a nationwide basis from depots located in Perth, Karratha, Broome, Darwin, Melbourne and Gippsland. Those services include third party inspections, heli-deck audits (CAP 437), fluid handling, specialist design and fabrication and rigging solutions.
Committed to providing customers with a full range of DNV 2.7-1 / EN12079 certified Cargo Carrying Units and associated services, OEG Offshore continues to expand operations across Europe, Africa, Caspian, Asia Pacific, North America as well as Australia. Currently the business has strategic operating locations in 25 countries worldwide.
The merger and integration shall be structured as a change of name of OPC Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 58 082 596 174) to OEG Offshore Pty Ltd on 1st July 2015 at the same time as the business, trade and assets of both Oilfield & Resource Rentals Pty Ltd (ACN 148 911 988) and Offshore Cryogenic Services Pty Ltd (ACN 145 383 857) transfer to OEG Offshore Pty Ltd (ABN 58 082 596 174).
