OEG Offshore's Australian Subsidiary Reports Successful First Year
The Australian subsidiary of the Aberdeen-based supplier and manufacturer of containers and modules, OEG Offshore, has enjoyed a successful first year in operation, securing contracts worth more than AUS $1.3M on the back of their large investment into the region.
From its Perth, Western Australia, base, OEG Offshore PTY Limited (OEG Offshore Australia) supplies clients in the offshore oil and gas industry on a sale or rental basis with a range of containers, baskets and specialist, A60 pressurised engineering all meeting the widely recognised DNV 2.7-1 standard.
The first twelve months of business since the subsidiary’s creation in 2010 has seen OEG Offshore Australia invest approximately Aus $1 million in its rental fleet which has led to it securing significant contracts with a range of exploration and production, oil services, logistics and marine clients across both Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
OEG’s Regional Director for Australia, Graham O’ Brien, is delighted with how the first year of operation in the Australasian market has gone for the company.
Mr O’ Brien said: “To have recorded such a positive first year in Australia is testament to the hard work of the team in setting-up the subsidiary and we are delighted with the results we have experienced to date.
“OEG Offshore Australia has established a solid client base over the past twelve months and our presence in Perth, coupled with the work done by our regional representatives, Darwin-based Tank and Pump Services, has increased awareness of OEG Offshore throughout the Australian market.
”We are now looking forward to the future, and building on this success with further major investment of in excess of AUS $ 1 million planned in our fleet of containers and cabins, which are situated in Perth and Darwin to ensure we are able to respond quickly to the needs of our growing client base in the region.”
