Darwin-based Tank and Pump Services (TPS), a subsidiary of OEG Offshore, has achieved accreditation through OPC Australia's NATA ISO 17020 accreditation.  The accreditation covers TPS's offshore lifted equipment and associated rigging components as a Type C Inspection Body.

John Davies, TPS Inspection and Maintenance Technician, received training at sister company OPC's Melbourne facility where he carried out the rigorous inspection evaluations associated with NATA's accreditation.  As an approved inspector John will carry out inspection activities in accordance with his accreditation.

Dirk Alber, Director of TPS said “We now have the flexibility in offering integrated inspection services for our equipment and customer owned assets throughout Darwin and all our Australian sites.  We are positive that this will further improve levels of service currently provided with the fast growing fleet we have here in the north of Australia.“

The OEG Offshore group of companies' commitment to quality service is also underpinned by other industry recognised accreditations;   NATA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for Mechanical Testing, ISO9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 (LRQA), AS/NZ 4801:2001 and Achilles FPAL.

TPS's fleet of DNV 2.7-1 transportable offshore chemical and heli-tanks, containers, baskets, waste units and A60 cabins are available across Australasia.  They offer the same varied range of equipment for sale as well as rental, alongside a bespoke design service.

OEG Offshore has been a growing success with the acquisition in 2013 of OPC Australia Pty Ltd and Fuel Installation Services Pty Ltd, trading as Tank and Pump Services,  enabling  the OEG group to provide a truly Australia wide offering with depots in Perth, Darwin, Melbourne and Barry Beach, Gippsland.
